D.C.Pae was born in the rural Pennines, leaving to find a different way of life at a young age. She travelled through the shires to London; an independent spirit and a city girl looking to find a faster pace of life.
She studied at Universities in London and New York before settling back in London, and always had an eye toward eventually becoming a novelist and writer. Incongruously, she worked with statistics for a long period of time which she confesses ‘nearly drove me mad’.
She has been writing with serious intent for a decade but has been writing all her life in private, and in order to change her career path, took a job in a publishing house. Her heart will always be with creative writing.
Her first novel was published in 2009, after being ‘discovered’ writing in a coffee shop the previous year. She has finished her second, third and fourth novels which are about to launch into the submission phase (see Literary Works). She wrote them back-to-back in a eighteen month period, having turned prolific and promising with a wink and the wryest of smiles, that a masterpiece is in the pipeline.
